On Friday 2 February 2024, the 19th edition of the Annual Gaming Industry Event will take place at Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club in Amsterdam.

The event is organised by Franssen Tolboom Gaming and Gambling practice group in cooperation with the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL).

This year’s event will focus on the review of the Remote Gambling Act, which will take place in 2024. Several legislative amendments for the provision of remote gambling that are already in the pipeline will also be considered as well as further issues that will come into play in the coming year for both the online and land-based gambling sectors.

The programme includes:

Opening speeches by Quirino Mancini, Partner at Tonucci & Partners LLC / IMGL President, and Justin Franssen, Partner at Franssen Tolboom / IMGL member.
Speeches by René Jansen, the board chairman of the Gaming Authority, and Fedor Meerts, Department Head of Integrity & Gambling at the Ministry of Justice and Security.
An interactive discussion led by Frank Tolboom, Partner at Franssen Tolboom, and Dr Alan Littler, Gaming Lawyer at Franssen Tolboom.
Informal reception and dinner.
